The Abia south senatorial candidate Sir. Chris Nkwonta of the All progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) was on Sunday 15th March 2015, attacked by the opposition party within the church premises. The hoodlums in the numbers invaded the church premises with weapons, and ran rampage on the distinguish aspirants convoy.
An eye witness while narrating the incidence decried the level of decay in our political terrain , while also calling on Government to put all security apparatus aimed at securing lives and properties of the opposition parties.
As at the time of this report , the official vehicle of the aspirant which was damaged beyond repair still lays at the spot of the incidence. this attack is coming days after the attack on the Governorship aspirant Dr. Alex otti at Ikwuano , Abia state.....................
